President Mirziyoyev invites Speaker Tursunbekov to visit Uzbekistan
Bishkek, Sept. 6, 2017 / Kabar /. Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Chynybai Tursunbekov met today with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who arrived in the country for a state visit. During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of strengthening and expanding bilateral relations, special attention was paid to measures to intensify interparliamentary cooperation, the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh reported. Tursunbekov greeted the high guest on the Kyrgyz land and said that this state visit is very important for the two peoples. "I am sure that your meetings with Alamzbek Atambayev in both Samarkand and Bishkek will significantly improve the partnership, and also open a new page in the history of our interaction," he said. "We, in the Jogorku Kenesh, are in favor of strengthening partnership relations with the Parliament of Uzbekistan, because it is not a secret for anyone that interparliamentary interaction plays a big role in bringing peoples together as a whole. If we understand each other, our citizens will also live in the spirit of good-neighborliness," Tursunbekov said. He added that he welcomed the signing of the Memorandum on Cooperation between the Jogorku Kenesh and the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan with great joy and enthusiasm. He noted that this document will serve as a good platform for deepening the interparliamentary partnership at all levels. In his turn, Mirziyoyev said that the Kyrgyz people are brotherly for Uzbekistan. He noted that Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have recently reached a breakthrough in relations. "Everything that we do must be in the name of the prosperity of our ordinary citizens. My visit is fruitful, I am very pleased. Thanks to political will, we managed to find solutions on many issues, a number of important documents were signed. Now we need to implement them, and I hope that the parliaments of the two countries will support us," the Uzbek President said. He added that the Kyrgyz Parliament has achieved good results in its development. "It is necessary to intensify mutual visits of parliamentarians, exchange experience, and, in general, to bring the relationship between the Jogorku Kenesh and the Oliy Majlis to a new, better level," Mirziyoyev said. The President of Uzbekistan also touched upon the upcoming presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan. "I believe that the wise Kyrgyz people will choose a worthy candidate who, in turn, will continue the policy of Almazbek Atambayev, aimed at rapprochement of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan," concluded the Uzbek leader. At the end of his speech, he invited Chynybai Tursunbekov to visit Uzbekistan for a week.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyevev changed the history of bilateral relations, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov said during a meeting with visiting Uzbekistan’s President. During the meeting, Mirziyoyev congratulated Isakov on his appointment to a high office. "I was 14 years prime minister, and I know that this is a heavy burden. A lot depends on the premier. The presidents take a political decision, and premieres fulfill them. You are talented, your talent lies in the fact that you quickly grasp and analyze," the President of Uzbekistan said. In addition, Mirziyoyev expressed hope that after the presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan the decisions taken at these meetings will be continued. In turn, Isakov said that Mirziyoyev changed the history of bilateral relations. Following the meeting, a Memorandum on the creation of a council of akims of the border regions of the two countries was signed. The document was signed by First Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Tolkunbek Abdygulov and Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Achylbai Ramatov.

The prime ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are more likely to get in touch by phone and see each other to solve joint issues, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said during the meeting with Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov. "For 14 years of my premiership, I talked with the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan 4 times. It should not be like that. You must not ask us. You have to call up 10 times a month and if necessary, meet," Mirziyoyev said. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan said that President Atambayev had already instructed to implement the agreements reached yesterday. He also assured that together with the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov they will work effectively. Isakov also said that Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan have previously agreed on cooperation for $ 115 million and this agreement will be worked out in the near future and signed between the relevant companies. "This fact is very encouraging. This is only the first step," he said. Kyrgyz Prime Minister meets with President of Uzbekistan

The meeting takes place within the framework of Mirziyoyev’s two-day state visit to Kyrgyzstan. Yesterday, on September 5, Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev. The sides discussed the whole range of bilateral relations and signed an agreement on the coordination of 85% of the state borders of the two countries.
Kyrgyz-Turkish hospital to be opened in Bishkek
Bishkek, Sept. 6, 2017 / Kabar /. The new Kyrgyz-Turkish hospital will be opened in two or two and a half months, Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Talantbek Batyraliev said at a meeting with Ali Mousslu, the newly appointed Program Coordinator of the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TICA), on September 5 during a joint inspection of construction work. "This hospital is a gift of the Republic of Turkey to the people of Kyrgyzstan," said Ali Muslu. "We consider it as a symbol of friendship between our peoples and set out to make this hospital the center for the implementation of all the achievements and technologies of medical science, as well as to enable specialists from Kyrgyzstan not only to work on its basis, but also to continue education and be engaged in science. A high standard has been set to provide medical services in the best possible way and that Kyrgyzstanis have no need to go abroad for diagnosis and treatment. " According to Talantbek Batyraliev, at the moment the construction is at the completion stage, but due to a change in design in order to reduce vacant areas and increase the bed capacity, the terms changed slightly.
